KITCHEN HELPER

Summary: The kitchen is a popular place during mealtime! Support staff before, during, and after meal service while families pop by to pick up a meal. Tasks include doing dishes and assisting with meal prep, service, or clean up. Be ready for other miscellaneous tasks such as dating foods, restocking the pantry, or cleaning and sanitizing surfaces/appliances. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager, Josh, or other Shelter Coordinators. 

Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 4:30 pm-7:30 pm

The Nitty Gritty: 

• Help Shelter Coordinator/Kitchen Manager prepare and serve food

• Assist in keeping the kitchen and dining room clean by washing and sanitizing dishes and surfaces.

• Serve meals to our families.

• Label and date all leftovers.
